INVITING IPSWICH

Inviting Ipswich is a town-wide Alpha campaign, running in early 2024, with a vision to see thousands of people across Ipswich invited to Alpha at their local church. All participant churches will have their Alpha courses advertised centrally on the Inviting Ipswich website, alphaipswich.org, and receive free promotional materials including banners, printed flyers, posters, and guest booklets. River Church and Alpha UK will be offering training to participant churches, to help maximise the effectiveness of their advertising and courses themselves. We would love for you and your church to get involved!

KEY DATES

Please put these dates in your diary, and share them with you church and Alpha teams, too.

  • Inviting Ipswich Vision and Training Night

    Thursday 16th November 2023 | 7:00pm | River Church Ipswich

    Find out about the project, learn how to run a great Alpha, and hear stories of lives changed through Alpha. Attending is not a commitment to take part, just to explore. This event will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.

  • Deadline to Sign Up

    Friday 1st December 2023 | Midnight

    In order to give us time to order the correct number of promotional materials to advertise your church’s Alpha, all participant churches need to have completed the below form by this date.

  • Inviting Ipswich Advertising Campaign Goes Live

    Monday 1st January 2024

    Online and public advertising for Inviting Ipswich will be released, the alphaipswich.org website will go live for guests to sign up, and participant churches are encouraged to display their banners and posters, and provide flyers for their congregations and contacts.

  • Inviting Ipswich Prayer Meetings

    Tuesday 16th January 2024 | 7:00am and 7:00pm | River Church Ipswich

    Join with others to pray over every Alpha running in Ipswich, that many will attend and find faith in Jesus Christ. Meetings will include worship, prayer, and light refreshments.

  • Alpha launches across Ipswich

    Week commencing Monday 22nd January 2024 | Times and locations across Ipswich

  • Church Impact Reports due back

    Sunday 21st April 2024 | Midnight

    Please make sure you send all your information on numbers of Alpha guests, weekly attendance, and numbers of new Christians back to us. The impact form will be sent to you in due course.
